Guillaume Paris is a post conceptual (pre-modern?) artist born in the Ivory Coast.

He studied engineering, art (both at the Cooper Union, NYC) and anthropology (UCL, London).

His works are regularly exhibited in museums, art centers and galleries internationally.

He has shown at the Pompidou Center, the Palais de Tokyo, the Jeu de Paume (Paris), the MAMCS (Strasbourg), the ZKM (Karlsruhe), the Prada Foundation (Milan), the Rotterdam International Film Festival, the Sharjah International Biennal, the Tinguely Museum (Basel), the Centraal Museum (Utrecht), the Museum of Fine Art (Shanghai), among others.

He is a professor at Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris and frequently teaches and lectures around the world (London, Beijing, Nanjing, Taipei, Tokyo, Belgrade, Helsinki, Reykjavik, New Delhi).
